Conference RoomThe annual conference of the Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education (OAGE) will be held on March 27, 2009, at the Miami University Shriver Center in Oxford, Ohio.   The conference title is, “Enduring Legacies: Honoring Our Past, Envisioning Our Future.”  Follow this link for further information about the conference. We hope you will plan to attend. OAGE is the statewide organization in aging that provides opportunities for education and research to students, academicians and practitioners in the field of aging. Students are invited to join OAGE and register for the conference at reduced rates.  A membership invitation and application are attached here. Becoming a member of OAGE is a great way to interact with other students who have an interest in aging and to interact with professionals in the field. Also, it is a way to acquire information about various positions in today’s job market related to aging. In addition, students can use their experience as members of OAGE to enhance their vitas and resumes. For further information, contact Georgia Anetzberger, Ph.D., President, The Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education, Inc., at, or phone: 216-687-3835 (office), 216-687-9257 (fax). Please pass this announcement on to other faculty and/or students you think would be interested in this opportunity.
